Guided Meditation for Healing: 10 Minutes
Meditation Script for Healing
Practice this meditation while lying down flat on your back. You can do this in bed or even in the bathtub. Hit pause if you need to and come back when you’re ready to begin. Softly close your eyes and take one long, deep inhale through your nose, feeling your stomach expand completely and hold your breath at the top. When you’re ready, exhale with a long audible sigh at the end of that breath. Repeat this: Breathing in deeply stomach expanding, holding your breath at the top and releasing with a sigh when it feels good to you.
One more deep breath in, stomach expanding even more, and hold your breath at the top as it feels right to you. Let your breath go through a sigh. At the end of that exhale, just return to breathing at a pattern that is comfortable for you, in through your nose and out through your mouth. Throughout the course of this meditation, ensuring that your stomach expands on every inhale. You have a great power within you to heal yourself. And when you allow yourself to relax, you can enter into your natural state of wellbeing. In this meditation, you will be guided to a space known as your healing chamber, a visualization that you can return to again and again to experience health and wellbeing.
Begin by imagining yourself walking through a trail in the woods. Although your feet are barefoot, the ground is soft beneath your feet, for the trail is covered in plush moss. Each step feels comforting, freeing, and nurturing. And as you get deeper into the woods, you feel yourself entering into the heartbeat of mother earth. Out here, there are no distractions.
There is simply peace, love, and security… And your ears begin to hear the running of water nearby. And as you push aside a branch from a tree, you begin to see a river out before you. This river is flowing smoothly and gently; and to access it, there is a soft sandy beach.
You walk up to the water’s edge and allow your barefoot toes to dip into the cool water. It feels refreshing and intuitively you know that there is something unique about the water in this river. There are great healing powers here. And do you feel called to lie down in the water in the shallow and of the river’s edge, allowing the water to rush over you.
As you lie down, you feel this continuous stream of flowing water washing over you from head to toe, and as it does, it carries down the river, any energy that is no longer serving, returning you to your natural state of wellness and rejuvenation.
Allow yourself to simply relax in the healing powers of this river’s water. Notice how fresh free, and rejuvenated you feel as the water continues to wash over you, returning you to a state of being perfectly healed.
By allowing this water to cover you, you notice that your body feels healthier, lighter…as it is returning to its natural state of wellbeing. Continue to relax into this.
As you let the healing process continue, you notice a green light glowing from within your heart’s energy center in the middle of your chest and a couple of inches inwards, and you see the green light expanding to completely surround your physical body.
This sphere of green light symbolizes perfect health and wellbeing.
Take this sphere of green healing light with you. As you slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and toes and at a pace that is comfortable for you. Bring your awareness to the room around you, opening your eyes when you feel ready.
Healing Meditation: 20 Minutes
Healing Meditation Script
Hello and welcome. You are about to experience the power and protection of white light, which is healing in a multitude of ways.
Get into a very relaxing position and make sure you will not be disturbed for the duration of this session… Allow your eyes to close…
Breathe in deeply… and exhale… allowing yourself to become a little more relaxed with each breath.
Breathing, imagine that there is a tiny white light, resembling a star in the very center of your chest. It is small but it is bright…
Breathe in deeply, and feel the profound relaxation that this small light is bringing to your entire chest area… exhale, letting all of your muscles relax…
On the next breath in, imagine that beautiful white light is growing… it is the size of a marble now, and its power is so intense, you feel a deep healing and relaxation from this light…
Taking another deep breath, expand this light even more, feeling this light is like a protective armor… exhale and see it growing in size…
The light is filling your entire torso now, protecting your heart from worries and healing any broken love…d breathing, feeling powerful…
As you continue breathing, each breath calms you to your soul… expanding the light even further…. On the next exhale, visualize the white light traveling into your head, protecting your mind from negative thoughts…
See the white light filling your face and neck, healing any old, harmful emotions that you’ve had over the years…
This light is the most relaxing and comforting feeling you’ve ever experienced.
As you continue breathing passionately, the light travels down your body, all the way to your hands and fingers… feet and toes…
See yourself completely immersed in this healing white light… Your body is perfectly healthy in this light, any outside invaders cease to be wherever the light is present.
Good.
Now… imagine that you can expand this light further, beyond the physical body… watch it grow and reach out far beyond your body…
This light is the essence of pure healing. See yourself surrounded by this healing beautiful light…
Breathe in, and imagine that this light also protects those around you as well… those you love and know as well as those you have yet to meet…

Bring your awareness again to your body….
Breathing in deeply, expanding in every direction… let the breath go… sinking into relaxation…

Allow your mind to hear the phrase, “What you resist, is what persists. What you hold on to, does not heal…”
Breathe in fully, thinking about the meaning of this… breathe out… feeling even more relaxed.
With the power of your imagination imagine a clear pristine lake, with rolling mountains along the water’s edge. There are untouched forests blanketing the landscape. Breathe in and imagine that you can smell the crisp air.
Walk up to the water, seeing how there are tiny waves lapping against the land. You can hear these gentle waves, and this sound soothes you to your very soul. You feel so relaxed…peaceful… safe here at this gorgeous lake.
As you look out upon the crystal-clear water, you see a long red canoe floating towards you in the distance. There is a figure in this canoe, shrouded in white clothing. You can sense the compassion and love of this individual, even from a distance.
The boat draws to the water’s edge where you stand. A graceful, loving woman gets off with ease. She is so beautiful and wise, and greets you with a gentle smile. This magnificent woman is known as the Mother of Healing
A wooden bench appears by the lake and she invites you to sit down with her. You both gaze out upon the serene water for a few moments, enjoying the view…
She explains to you that holding on to fears is what makes them stronger, keeping you from being able to heal. In order to free yourself from these gripping thoughts and emotions is to go straight into them, no matter how scared you may be… It is then that you break through the barrier of fear, returning to your natural state of peace and love, experiencing a deep healing…
Everything that she describes makes perfect sense. You have not thought about it this way before, could it really be that easy?
“Yes,” she proclaims. “Simply take a deep breath in, and when you exhale, bring into your mind a fear that you struggle with. It may seem scary, that’s what fears are best at making you feel, but think about this fear anyway. Breathe deeply… Notice exactly where in your body you feel any sensations related to this fear… and breathe fully into these areas of your body…
Good…
Now, imagine this fear again… and could you explain, to the woman in white, the chances that this fear that holds you back is likely to happen… can you put it into a percentage? what is the likelihood that this fear will actually happen? Let her know…
The woman looks at you as if you are her best friend. She simply says, “and what if this fear does happen?”
Breathing deeply again, you ponder this question.
She guides you to imagine now that your fear has come true… see it playing out… see it happening…. Breathe deeply as you watch from this perspective.
“and what happens next…? What are you doing months and years after this fear you held on to presented itself in your life?” she asks kindly.
You deeply understand that even though this fear was very scary and hard to handle, it did not stop you…. It actually healed you…
You continued living… thriving… smiling… and laughing…
Fear did not stop you this time. Now you have the knowledge… that acceptance and allowance is the key to letting go of fear and healing anything you need to heal.
The wise woman smiles brightly at you and says, “What you resist, is what persists. What you hold on to, does not heal…”
She has been waiting to teach you this technique so that you can free yourself from fear and be able to naturally heal.
Take a nice deep breath in, feeling gratitude for this experience… and let the image of the lake and the woman gently fade away.
(pause)
Return your awareness to the present moment, feeling fully freed from the burden of fear and suffering.
